Mahomet-Seymour Boys’ Soccer Extends Winning Streak to Six with Dominant Wins Over Taylorville and Uni High

Mahomet-Seymour’s boys’ soccer team finished the week with two wins in a three-day span.
The Bulldogs shutout Taylorville, 9-0, on Thursday (Sept. 26) at home and then posted a 4-1 victory at Urbana Uni High on Saturday (Sept. 28).
Travis Hoffman and Tate Kimball each netted two goals in the Apollo Conference matchup with Taylorville.
Contributing one goal apiece were Leo Agate, Caden Alt, Alexander Rodebaugh, Kade Smith and Preston Sriver.
Brock Evans and Ethan Ramirez each totaled two assists.
Isaac Biegler, Hoffman, Colin Jackson, Kimball and Religioso all collected one assist.
Goalkeeper Hayden Litteken had one assist.
Against Uni High, Jackson tallied two goals while teammates Noah Crane and Ramirez added one goal apiece.
The assists were by Alt and Litteken.
Litteken had four saves.
M-S (8-4-1) has won six matches in a row and returns to action on Monday (Sept 30) at Urbana. The Bulldogs are 4-0 in Apollo Conference play.
During the current winning streak, M-S has outscored its opponents 34-5.
