Haylie Orton put together a six-ace, four-kill, three-block performance on Tuesday (April 20) as the Mahomet-Seymour volleyball team remained unbeaten away from home for the season with a 25-18, 25-17 triumph at Effingham.
M-S is 7-0 in road matches, including three in the past eight days.
Caylee Folken registered 10 assists and three aces.
Another Bulldog, Avery Allen, compiled three kills, three digs and one block.
Overall, M-S is 13-2 with an 11-match winning streak entering a Thursday (April 22) match at home against Charleston in the school’s season-finale.
The Bulldogs are 13-0 in Apollo Conference matches.
In the junior varsity match, Effingham topped M-S, 26-24, 25-18.
