Mahomet-Seymour Ag Club taking plant orders
By Brogan Hennesy
Mahomet-Seymour High School’s Agriculture Club will be hosting a curbside plant sale this year from May 4-8 in place of their traditional sales in the past.
Located behind Mahomet-Seymour High School, customers will be able to drive up and purchase a selection of plants to adhere to the state’s social distancing and shopping guidelines.
Shoppers can choose to buy a selection of plants online via the Mahomet-Seymour Community Schools Web Store. From there, orders can be customized based on color, size, type of plant, and growing lighting.
Once the pick-up date is selected, orders can be claimed. Pick-up requires parking in the spot that coordinates with your assigned vehicle.
The Ag program will require that patrons do not leave the vehicle. A staff member will come to the vehicle with the order box.
Members strive to make good selections based off the customer’s preferences.
Donations will go to support the local Ag Department during the Covid-19 crisis. Orders can be placed here.
