Mahomet-Seymour Administrator Pay from 2013-2018
The Mahomet Daily has compiled base salary information for all of the Mahomet-Seymour School District Administrators per the 2017-2018 contracts. District administration contracts run from July 1-June 30 of the following year.
Some administrative contracts, run for multiple years, explaining why some administrators have the 2018-2019 base salary listed. New hires, such as MSJSH Principal Nathan Mills, MSHS Assistant Principal Chad Benedict and Middletown Assistant Principal Ryan Martin’s salaries are listed per information given to the press prior to their board hire.

Superintendent Lindsey Hall explained, “Administrative pay increases are centered around the pay increases that our teachers receive, with adjustments made as needed for performance, based upon evaluations. Maintaining competitive salaries based on salary surveys and studies is also a priority of the Board of Education.”
The average administrator raise since 2014 has been 2.37 percent per year.
The Mahomet-Seymour School District Superintendent contract highlights 0 to 6% salary increase over the previous year’s salary. The raise is determined by the board during each subsequent contract year.
The Superintendent’s goal and objectives are also set alongside the board in October of the subsequent year of the date of the contract. At this time, Hall’s goals and objectives have not been set by the Board of Education.

The Mahomet-Seymour Education Association and the Mahomet-Seymour School District are in a negotiation year, following a 4-year contract, negotiated in 2014, which provided educators a .5 percent increase in 2015, .75 percent 2016 and 1 percent 2017 and 2018 on top of the step increase of 2.1 percent.
According to Illinois Report Card, the average teacher salary in the Mahomet-Seymour School District for 2017 was $52,475. The state average teacher salary is $64,516.
