The Mahomet Music Festival is set to bring the heart of downtown Mahomet to life on August 22 and 23 delivering a weekend packed with live music, local flavor, and family-friendly fun. The festival, a long-standing tradition in the community, takes over Main Street and draws attendees from across Illinois and neighboring states.
Friday night will feature hometown star Lexi Tieffel, a 2025 American Idol contestant and Mahomet-Seymour student, who has become a festival favorite. She will open for Gina Miles, the Season 23 winner of NBC’s The Voice.
Saturday’s festivities will culminate in a high-energy performance by Parmalee, the multi-platinum country band noted for hits like “Carolina” and “Take My Name.” Opening for Parmalee is Lakeview, a country-rock duo known for crowd-pleasers such as “Home Team”. Acoustic sets and Christian artists will also appear, with additional details yet to be announced.
