Mahomet is welcoming the autumn season with a lively new celebration—the first “Fall for Mahomet” Festival—on Saturday, October 4th, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in downtown Mahomet.

The festival promises a full day of food, music, and festive events. Guests can enjoy a tempting array of food trucks and local restaurants with treats from favorites like Junita’s Tacos, Ice Daddy’s, Burrito King, the Main Scoop, and Jimmy Johns. Beer and wine will be served.

Live performances will fill the air with music, featuring artists such as Tom Grassman and the duo Dave & Lisa. Family-friendly activities include pumpkins for sale from Crowley Pumpkins, a kids’ area packed with games, a barrel train ride sponsored by Ambucs, and an impressive selection of local makers with autumn-inspired goods.

With local food, energetic music, and hands-on fun for all ages, Fall for Mahomet promises a vibrant kickoff to the season for the entire community.
