Mahomet Halloween Fun begins this weekend
It’s time for some Halloween fun in Mahomet!
Beginning Friday, Oct. 21, there are some great Halloween events for young and old(er) alike!
Friday, October 21: 2 TO 4 P.M.
HALLOWEEN FUN INSIDE AND OUTSIDE AT THE MUSEUM
Museum of the Grand Prairie, Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve, 2-4 p.m.
Halloween is right around the corner! Put on your costume (or not!) and join the Museum of the Grand Prairie staff for Halloween Fun Inside and Outside at the Museum! They will have various Halloween-themed crafts to create, you can participate in a Halloween-themed scavenger hunt outside and even learn about the history and culture of this fun holiday! All ages. FREE. No registration required. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Current public health guidelines will be followed. Program may be canceled due to weather or health-related concerns. Saturday, October 22: 10 TO 11 A.M.
TRICK OR TREAT: AN INDOOR EVENT
Bridle Brook is inviting families in the area to bring their kiddos to their spooktacular community for some trick-or-treating fun! Kids are welcome to trick-or-treat around the building, and residents will hand out candy from their doorways.

Friday, October 28, 6 TO 8 P.M.
TRUNK OR TREAT DOWNTOWN MAHOMET
Trick-or-Treaters can double or triple their Halloween haul as they travel down Main Street in downtown Mahomet on October 28.
Burgwald Eye Center‘s annual Trunk or Treat event brings together Mahomet businesses who are happy to put candies and treats in bags as children in costumes travel from decorated trunk to decorated trunk.
Stop by Burgwald Eye Center to participate in the best costume photo contest. After the event, the Mahomet community will have a chance to vote on their favorite Trunk or Treat costume.
Saturday, Oct. 29: 10 A.M. TO NOON
BOOK OR TREAT
A Halloween event for all ages!
Stop by the Mahomet Public Library in costume and receive a book and a treat! Craft stations will also be set up around the library with fun activities for all ages!
Monday, Oct. 30: 2 TO 4 P.M.
TRUNK OR TREAT
Our Lady of the Lake will host their second annual Trunk or Treat event.
Monday, Oct. 31: 6 TO 8 P.M.
TRICK-OR-TREAT HOURS
Trick-or-Treat hours in Mahomet are from 6 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 31. Rain or Shine.
