Mahomet Family Dentistry Athlete of the Week: Nolan Wheeler

Mahomet-Seymour Junior Nolan Wheeler scored 2 goals and contributed four points as the Bulldogs secure a 9-0 win over Charleston Thursday night. 

The 5’11” striker has contributed 19 goals and 44 points as the Bulldogs head into the final stretch of the 2022 season. 

Wheeler’s highlights include a hat trick in the Sept. 24 shutout win over Danville. He also scored four goals and contributed 9 points against Mattoon on Sept. 13. Wheeler scored goals against 10 of Mahomet-Seymour’s 16 opponents, including Charleston, Normal West, Mt. Zion, Charleston, Mattoon, Lincoln, Effingham and Danville. 

The Bulldogs play their final home game against Champaign Central at 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 1.
