Mahomet Craft Beer Festival will once again fill the streets of downtown on June 26.
“The event will be a little different than in years past, but come out for a fun event in downtown Mahomet, try a variety of beers from local and regional breweries as well as wine and a variety of vodkas and and bourbons,” the event’s Facebook announcement says.
Live music will include performances by Clusterpluck, Ian Shepherd & Co. and Kayla Brown.
The 2021 festival will run from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
“Save Local Breweries”? What a joke. Every other C-U area brewery dealt with the pandemic and didn’t complain about it on social media. They also appeared to use PPP money for its intended purpose and paid staff while they kept operating. I’d much rather spend my money supporting them than this sham of a festival.
