Trunk or Treat, 6 to 8 p.m.
Downtown Mahomet, Hosted by Burgwald Eye Center
Trick-or-Treaters can double or triple their Halloween haul as they travel down Main Street in downtown Mahomet on October 28.
Burgwald Eye Center‘s annual Trunk or Treat event brings together Mahomet businesses who are happy to put candies and treats in bags as children in costumes travel from decorated trunk to decorated trunk.

Bridle Brook Trick or Treat Event

Mahomet Public Library
Come one and all! This Halloween event is for all ages. Stop by the Library in costume and receive a book and a treat. Craft stations will be set up around the Library with fun activities for everyone.

Teen Pumpkin Painting Competition, 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Mahomet Public Library
Get in the Halloween spirit! Teens (students in grades 6-12), join us at the Library for a pumpkin painting contest, complete with spooktacular prizes! All materials and pizza will be provided. Grades 6-12. Registration required.

Movie Night: Casper

FREE! Join us under the star-studded canopy of Middle Fork River Forest Preserve for an enchanting cinematic experience! After the excitement of the Hoot ‘N Howl program, settle in with family and friends as we transport you to the ghostly world of Casper (1995). If it rains, the movie showing will be cancelled. HOOT ‘N HOWL: HALLOWEEN FUN AT MIDDLE FORK
Harry L. Swartz Campground, Middle Fork River Forest Preserve, 3-7:30 p.m.
Find many tricks and treats during this all ages event at Middle Fork River Forest Preserve! Take a self-guided hike on a Not-So-Spooky Nature Trail to learn more about what goes on in nature in the fall and some of the tricks that nature plays on itself. Bring your best costume and enter for a chance to win prizes during a costume contest! From 3-5 p.m., enjoy hayrack rides around the campground, apple peeling, mask making, and other hands-on activities. Costume contest winners will be announced at 5:30 p.m. and an outdoor movie for all ages will be screened immediately after. Children must be accompanied by an adult. FREE. Adult Halloween Bingo & Costume Contest
6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Get ready for a spooky evening of Halloween fun at the Library! Dress up in your favorite costume (optional, but encouraged), and compete for festive prizes in both the costume contest and BINGO games.

TRICK-OR-TREAT HOURS
Trick-or-Treat hours in Mahomet are from 6 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 31. Rain or Shine.
