M-S finished second in Saturday’s Apollo Conference Triangular Meet at Charleston, but won more events than either of the other two competing schools.
The Bulldogs had double individual wins from Eden Oelze and Olivia McMurry.
Oelze was victorious in the 200-yard individual medley (2 minutes, 37.55 seconds) and the 100-yard butterfly (1:07.91).
McMurry was triumphant in the 50-yard freestyle (27.41) and the 100-yard backstroke (1:09.75).
The other individual M-S meet champion was Miranda Marcelli. She claimed the 100-yard freestyle in 1:03.33.
The Bulldogs also posted a win in the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:55.74. Teaming up in that event were Oelze, Marcelli, Kate Raver and McMurry.
M-S (14-4) placed second overall. Charleston was first with 90 points. M-S totaled 77 points and Lincoln ended with 29.
Since there were not a minimum of four Apollo schools competing, it was not considered a conference championship meet.
There was no competition held for divers, an event where the M-S school record has been broken three times this season.
M-S produced top four finishes in six events at Charleston, including two by Olivia Ross (third in the 100-yard breaststroke and fourth in the 200 IM) and two by Raver (third in the 200-yard freestyle and fourth in the 100-yard freestyle.
Marcelli was the runner-up in the 200-yard freestyle and Skye Rodgers placed fourth in the 50-yard freestyle.
M-S will hold its Senior Night Meet on Wednesday at Stanford Olympia. Jacksonville Routt will also participate in the meet.
