M-S boys’ golf season comes to an end

Junior Jameson Drinkwalter fired an 89 and posted the top score for the Bulldogs in Monday’s Class 2A Centennial Regional at the UI Golf course, in Savoy.

No M-S competitors advanced to sectionals.

Other Bulldog postseason scores were Sam Mitchaner (90), Jacob Louis (91), Erik Christianson (92), Brandon Collins (98) and Grant Harvey (100).

Normal University High won the team crown with a 318 score. M-S was eighth with a tally of 369.

Throughout the season, eight different Bulldogs had the team-best score in at least one meet. 

Seniors in the lineup at regional were Collins and Harvey.
