Lincoln defeats Mahomet-Seymour boys’ basketball

Mahomet-Seymour fell behind, 37-2, at halftime on Friday (Dec. 15) and suffered a 62-17 Apollo Conference loss in a boys’ basketball game at Lincoln.
The Bulldogs committed 23 turnovers in the loss.
The only M-S points before the third quarter came on a basket by Jackson Bohm in the first quarter. He finished with two points.
Cade Starrick connected on two three-point shots and led M-S with six points. Lucas Dyer nailed a three-point shot and ended with three points.
Also scoring for the Bulldogs were Landyn Hannah, Ryken Kirby and Miles Woolsey, all with two points.
Bohm and Timothy Anderson were the Bulldogs’ top rebounders with four apiece.
M-S (5-5) returns to action for its final pre-Christmas game on Tuesday (Dec.19) at home against Normal West.
