The University of Illinois Extension will host a “Learn To Can” event at the Mahomet Public Library on September 23. This event aims to teach local residents how to safely preserve fresh produce and enjoy homemade goods throughout the year.

The workshop will be led by Nutrition and Wellness Educator Rachel Mannen.

Due to limited space, early registration is highly recommended. Those interested in participating are encouraged to sign up early via the Mahomet Public Library website to secure a spot.
