Jake Anderson to play baseball at Millikin

Mahomet-Seymour High School’s Jake Anderson will continue his athletic career on the collegiate level as a member of the Men’s Baseball Team at Millikin University.

Located in Decatur, Illinois, the Big Blue are a member of The Collegiate Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin and compete at the NCAA Division III level. 

The Millikin Basebball program is led by Head Coach Brandon Townsend, the 2019 CCIW Baseball Coach of the Year.  

A varsity letter winner in both football and baseball, Anderson saw limited action during his junior season due to injury.  Jake was poised to be a varsity starter for the Bulldogs this spring prior to the season begin canceled.   

Jake plans to major in Sport and Recreation Management.
