The Mahomet-Seymour School Board welcomed Meghan Hunter as the Assistant Principal of Lincoln Trail Elementary at the board meeting on June 25.
Hunter has been with the Mahomet-Seymour School District as the Behavioral Specialist since 2015.
Prior to holding that position, Hunter was a special education teacher in the
Williamson County (IL) Special Education Cooperative from 2005-2013. From 2013-2015, Mrs.
Hunter was a special education teacher in Carbondale Elementary School District.
Hunter holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree from Southern Illinois University and is working
toward her Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
Hunter will make $70,000 per year during her first year of her contract.
