Henderson picks up shutout in win over Centennial

Ava Henderson pitched a three-hit shutout on Monday (April 10) as the Mahomet-Seymour softball team won at home over Centennial, 11-0.
Henderson walked two and struck out five. She has won three of her last four decisions.
Offensive catalysts were Kayla McKinney, Sydney Ward and Madisyn White, each with two hits.
Ward delivered three RBI. McKinney and Madelyn Logsdon each knocked in two runs. Logsdon scored three runs and Madeleine Cortez scored twice.
M-S (3-6) returns to action on Thursday (April 13) at Normal University High.
