Junior Hayden Mitchell posted the lone win for the Mahomet-Seymour boys’ tennis team on Thursday (April 27) in an 8-1 loss at Lincoln.
Mitchell registered a 7-5, 7-5 win over James Brewer at No. 5 singles.
One other Bulldog dropped a singles heartbreaker. Leif Olson, at the No. 1 position, was beaten by Owen Roemer, 3-6, 6-2, 10-8.
M-S (1-2) returns to action on Tuesday (May 2) against Taylorville at the Illini Grove Tennis Courts.
