Mahomet-Seymour’s Boys’ Golf team placed second in a three-school meet on Tuesday (Sept. 7) at Monticello Golf Course.
The host Sages were the meet winners with a composite score of 162. Runner-up M-S had 169 and third-place Rantoul came in at 186.
The Bulldogs had four of the top six individuals.
Blake Harvey was the team medalist with a 41. He placed fourth. Finishing in fifth with a 42 was teammate Brian Coyne.
M-S’ Reis Claybrooke and Zach Courson shot 43s and tied for sixth.
Other Bulldog participants were Jacob Schoudel (45) and Erik Christiansen (55).
M-S (3-2) returns to action on Thursday (Sept. 9) at Charleston Country Club against the Trojans and Effingham.
