Freshmen Mentor Program raises $4,675.95 for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
The Mahomet-Seymour High School Freshman Mentor Program raised $4,675.95 during the Pasta for Pennies campaign to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Over a time period of 3 weeks, the Freshman Mentor Program, which includes 10 classrooms, competed against each other to raise the most money. For the eighth year in a row, team Andracke won the competition, raising $2,123.13. Second place honors went to Team Schwartzentraub who raised $595.
The winning team will enjoy a pasta party sponsored by Olive Garden. The second place team earned a pizza party, donated by Dominos.
