The Home Builders Association of East Central Illinois will host their annual Showcase Parade of Homes this weekend.
Eighteen homes across Champaign, Urbana and Mahomet are open for viewing with the purchase of a $5/person ticket available through the Parade Craze App. Maps for the event, which runs October 13-15 and October 20-22 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. can be found at www.showcaseparadeofhomes.com as well as at any Parade Home.
Three homes will be available to be viewed through a virtual reality tour as homeowners are now living in them.
Consumers will have the opportunity to learn the latest advances in new construction and speak with builders and suppliers first hand. The event will feature a variety of homes across Champaign as well as bring opportunities for area builders and vendors to showcase their best designs, innovative technology, and energy efficient structures.
The Featured Development and Event Headquarters is located at Jacob’s Landing in southwest Champaign. Jacob’s landing is located on the west side of Champaign, north of Kirby Avenue at 1416 Jacob’s Blvd, Champaign.
