Erin Dallas Leads Mahomet-Seymour Volleyball to Sweep Over Mattoon, Extends Winning Streak to Eight

Erin Dallas distributed 13 assists on Thursday (Oct. 3) as the Mahomet-Seymour volleyball team swept to a 25-20, 25-18 Apollo Conference victory at Mattoon.
Ellie Barker landed seven kills and one service ace.
The Bulldogs’ junior varsity team registered a 25-18, 25-21 win. The M-S freshmen were triumphant, 21-18 21-18.
On Tuesday (Oct. 1), the Bulldogs thumped visiting Paxton-Buckley-Loda, 25-16, 25-10.
Dallas recorded 14 assists, Addi Eisenmann contributed 12 digs and Lily Bosworth totaled nine kills to go along with three blocks.
In the junior varsity match, M-S defeated PBL, 25-11, 19-25, 15-8. The Bulldog freshmen were victorious, 25-21, 25-13.
M-S (18-2 and 6-0 in Apollo Conference matches) returns to action on Tuesday (Oct. 8) at home against Mount Zion. M-S has an eight-match winning streak.
