Eight members of the winningest Mahomet-Seymour wrestling team in school history earned all-Apollo Conference first-team honors.
Included in the group is 220-pound junior Colton Crowley, a three-time all-conference first-teamer.
The repeat selections for the Bulldogs were 106-pound junior Caden Hatton, 170-pound junior Brennan Houser and 195-pound junior Mateo Casillas.
The other M-S first-teamers were 120-pound freshman Camden Heinold, 138-pound sophomore Tallen Pawlak, 152-pound senior Braeden Heinold (who had been a two-time second-team selection) and 285-pound junior Camden Harms.
In all, there were 14 first-team picks.
Two other Bulldogs were chosen for the second team: 160-pound senior Jacob Dobbins and 182-pound senior Stevie Pogue.
Coach Rob Ledin’s Bulldogs had a 30-4 season record in dual meets and placed third in the IHSA Class 2A state tournament.
Casillas was the school’s highest placer in the individual state tournament, finishing third. He also set a school single-season record for wins with 57.
Hatton (27), Harms (25), Braeden Heinold (23), Crowley (20), Houser (20) and Pogue (19) were the team-leaders in pins.
