Two players fired holes-in-one on Wednesday (Aug. 11) during Men’s Association golf league play at Lake of the Woods.
They each aced the 17th hole, but shot from different tees.
Gary Denzer, of Mahomet, used a 4-iron on the 196-yard hole. Witnessing his feat were Mark Kesler along with Steve and Kathy Clarkson.
Mike Wick, of Champaign, used a 4-hybrid from 169 yards to achieve his hole-in-one. Witnessing his shot was Larry Schultz.
