Dawgapalooza, an annual celebration to kick-off the football season will take place on August 31.
The event, which runs from 4:30 to 7:15 p.m. features inflatables, a tailgate cookout, and Bulldog apparel. The Mahomet-Seymour marching band and cheerleaders lead the crowd in pre-game cheers at 6:45 p.m.
Jason Seaman, a Mahomet-Seymour Graduate and Teacher at Noblesville West Middle School, will be honored for stopping a shooter in his school last spring.
Wristbands for the event cost $10. A pork chop sandwich meal is $6 and a hot dog meal is $4.
Dawgapalooza is organized by the M.S. Athletic Boosters and the M.S. Music Boosters. The proceeds from Dawgapalooza help fund various projects at MSHS throughout the year.
