Cheryl Odle: A Retirement Well Deserved
Friendly faces and a sense of community make a place like Mahomet feel like home. For decades, Busey has been proud to be a part of the community, providing financial support and volunteerism to area events.
Among their committed associates is Cheryl Odle, Vice President and Branch Manager. “Cheryl has been a vital part of our community” says Ryan Heiser, Mahomet Area Chamber of Commerce Chairman, through Cheryl’s years as a chamber member and committed volunteer.
After 27 years of dedication and support, Cheryl is retiring. While she will be greatly missed by her customers and fellow associates, Cheryl looks forward to retirement—splitting her time between Illinois and a winter home in Florida.
To wish her well on her new journey, Busey will host a farewell open house on Friday, February 26 from 1-5 p.m. at the Busey branch, 312 E. Main St. The community is invited to stop by and wish Cheryl well on her next adventure.
Replacing Cheryl as Vice President and Branch Manager is Mike Dillavou, a local Bulldog and father of three—two of whom currently attend Mahomet-Seymour High School and one alumni. Mike has been with Busey since 2007—and has worked with the Mahomet team over the last few months. We are excited to extend a warm welcome to Mike!
“I’m proud to be a part of this great community—serving the needs of my neighbors and building on lasting relationships in Mahomet and beyond,” says Mike Dillavou, Vice President & Branch Manager for Busey.
