Champion Fitness opens doors in Mahomet

Champion Fitness Physical Therapy will open its door to the Mahomet community Thursday during a Customer Appreciation Day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The event will kick-off with the Mahomet Chamber of Commerce celebrating the business with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:45 a.m. Following the ribbon cutting, guests can enjoy lunch or register for prizes, including a 40″ flatscreen tv.

Champion Fitness, located at 1504 Patton Dr. Ste 4, specializes in physical therapy for all ages and injury types. They also offer aquatic therapy, industrial rehabilitation and free injury screenings for patients who are not sure about a nagging ache or pain.

Owner and Physical Therapist Jeffery C. Schade is excited about the opportunity to provide services to Mahomet and the surrounding areas. “We are thrilled with the chance to have this clinic in Mahomet,” Schade said. “This community is exactly the type we look for when we search for areas to possibly expand. The city officials, the Chamber of Commerce, and the townspeople have been exceptionally warm to our arrival, and we look forward to serving the clientele in the area.

Schade went on to add, “The goal with each patient is to help that individual ‘Get Busy Living!’ We want that person to get back to enjoying the lifestyle that he or she was doing earlier, or even things he or she maybe hasn’t done for years. That’s why our mission is: ‘At Champion Fitness Physical Therapy, the patient comes first-always!’”

Schade opened the doors to the first Champion Fitness in Pontiac in 20 years ago. Now, there are more than 19 clinics throughout Central Illinois.The Mahomet location opened in February.
