Families in the Champaign-Urbana area will have access to free orthopedic assessments for children this August, thanks to a collaboration between the Champaign-Urbana Elks Lodge 2497 and the Illinois Elks Children’s Care Corporation.

The clinic will be led by Dr. James McKechnie, offering expert assessments for children with orthopedic concerns. Appointments are necessary, and spaces are limited to maintain a comfortable experience for each family.
Families seeking professional orthopedic evaluations for their children do not need a medical referral to attend. However, physicians are encouraged to refer patients for either a specific condition assessment or a second opinion. School nurses are also welcome to refer students and their families to the clinic.
