The Champaign County Forest Preserve District is set to kick off its 2025 Summer Concert Series with a highly anticipated performance by Candy Foster and Shades of Blue. The event will take place on Saturday, June 7, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lake of the Woods Peninsula.

Candy Foster, a legendary figure in the local music scene, has been entertaining crowds for over 20 years alongside the talented Shades of Blue. Known for his powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence, Foster and his band promise a one-of-a-kind performance that blends soulful melodies with infectious energy. 

The concert is free and open to all. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy the beautiful lake scenery while soaking in the sounds of live music. Food options will be available on-site.
