The Mahomet-Seymour basketball program will compete with one goal in mind on January 19: to combat cancer.
The 10th Annual Hoopin’ for a Cure event will begin at 1 p.m. as the JV and Varsity boys’ basketball teams take on Morton High School. The Varsity game will begin at 2:30. The event will also include cheer and dance performances, a 3-point shooting cash bash and a silent auction.
Spectators are encouraged to wear pink to the game. “Pink Out” tshirts will be available at the door or the at the school the week before the event. Spectators with a “Pink Out” shirt will get into the game free.
All proceeds from the evening will be donated to Cancer Research.
