According to Mahomet-Seymour School District Lindsey Hall, the back end of bus #7 clipped a car at the intersection of Division and State Street at approximately 8 a.m. on March 26.
Hall said the bus showed no signs of damage, and that she is unsure of the extent of the damage of the car at this time. She also said a police report was filed. The Mahomet-Seymour Transportation Department was also notified.
“(The) bus driver was completely unaware this had occurred until maybe about 7 minutes later when students exiting the bus told her,” Hall said.
