The Mahomet-Seymour girls’ golf team grabbed four of the top six individual positions on Tuesday (Sept. 7) and won team honors in the Champaign County Meet at the University of Illinois Blue Course.
Ainsley Winters was the runner-up, firing an 86 for her 18-hole round.
Kayla McKinney was just behind her teammate, finishing third with an 87.
Other Bulldog leaders were Maddy Clark (fourth with a 96) and Gaby Davis (sixth with a 98).
M-S’ other participants were Emma Dallas (10th with a 106) and Jama Craig (17th with a 114).
The Bulldogs’ team composite was 367. Runner-up Champaign Central totaled a 424.
The Bulldogs (9-0) return to action on Tuesday (Sept. 14) against Mattoon at Lake of the Woods.
