Bulldogs search for Apollo Conference win

M-S is still seeking its first Apollo Conference victory after suffering a 57-31 loss at home on Thursday to Mattoon.
During what is now a four-game losing streak, the Bulldogs are averaging 36.5 points per game.
Nichole Taylor led the Bulldogs with nine points and 10 rebounds. Cayla Koerner contributed five points.
M-S fell behind 15-9 after one quarter and 30-15 at halftime.
The Bulldogs made just 1 of 17 three-point attempts and overall shot 22.4 percent from the field (13 of 58).
M-S will complete the pre-Christmas portion of its schedule with three games this week, starting with a home contest tonight against Effingham, weather permitting.
The Bulldogs are 4-5 overall and 0-3 in Apollo Conference action.
