Mahomet-Seymour’s junior high girls’ basketball teams registered a sweep on Monday (Nov. 1) at Normal Parkside to improve their overall records to 15-1.
The seventh-grade Bulldogs handled the Parkside Pythons, 30-10, with Courtney Fonte hitting 12 points and Hannah Martin contributing seven points.
The eighth-grade Bulldogs held on for a 37-30 win at Parkside in a game they led 35-19 entering the final six minutes.
Lily Bosworth tallied a team-high 14 points and teammate Ava Yeakel chipped in with 13 points.
The M-S teams return to Normal on Thursday (Nov. 4) to play Kingsley.
