Bulldogs look to continue 8-game win streak as they face Taylorville

The Bulldogs avenged a previous loss to Mount Zion, sweeping the Braves 25-15, 25-22 on Tuesday on their home court.

Kayin Garner provided 17 assists and two aces.

Lauren Minick had eight digs, five kills and two blocks. Amber Yeakel contributed four blocks and two kills.

M-S (21-6) has won eight matches in a row, all in two-set sweeps. The Bulldogs are 7-2 in Apollo Conference matches.

The team returns to action tonight at home against Taylorville.

In Tuesday’s junior varsity match, Mount Zion scored a 15-25, 25-10, 15-7 win over the Bulldogs.
