The Bulldogs were held scoreless and limited to one hit in their season-opener on Thursday (April 15) at home against Effingham St. Anthony.
The visitors posted an 11-0 victory.
The lone M-S hit was a double by Mateo Casillas.
St. Anthony built a six-run lead after two innings before Bulldog reliever Zac Carr pitched three scoreless innings. Carr walked one and struck out four during his stint.
M-S (0-1) returns to action on Monday (April 19) at Normal University High.
