Bulldogs head into holiday break with a win over Danville

Reese Gallier, who has made at least one three-pointer in every Mahomet-Seymour girls’ basketball game thus far, fired in 15 points on Monday (Dec. 18) as the Bulldogs ended their pre-Christmas schedule with a 46-30 win at home over Danville.
Gallier bagged three three-pointers and has hit 37 through 15 games.
Kylie Waldinger seconded her with 11 points against the Vikings. Sidney Young made one three-pointer and racked up nine points. Hannah Creel contributed six points.
Finishing with two points apiece were Adaline Eisenmann and Courtney Fonte. Selah Campion notched one free throw.
M-S led, 11-8, after one quarter and built its lead to 24-13 at halftime.
The Bulldogs (6-9) return to action on Thursday (Dec. 28) at the Mattoon Tournament against Effingham St. Anthony.
