Balanced scoring led the seventh-grade Mahomet-Seymour girls’ basketball team to a win on Saturday (March 27) in its home-opener, 32-9, over Urbana.
Erin Dallas and Ava Yeakel scored eight points apiece. Chipping in with six points apiece were Lily Bosworth and Alivia Lewis.
On Monday (March 29), the Bulldogs hit a season-high for points scored, topping St. Matthew 34-6 in Champaign.
Yeakel hit a team-high 10 points. Bosworth chipped in with six points.
M-S (3-1) returns to action on Thursday (April 1) at home against Mount Zion.
