Avery Allen pounded 13 kills and added nine digs on Tuesday (Sept. 13) as the Mahomet-Seymour volleyball team turned back Taylorville, 25-21, 25-21, at home.
Caylee Folken totaled 12 assists, nine digs and two service aces. Ellie Barker landed five kills to go with three digs.
M-S (13-2) returns to action on Thursday (Sept. 15) at Normal University High.
The M-S junior varsity topped Taylorville, 25-22, 25-21, and the Bulldog freshmen were triumphant, 22-20, 15-21, 16-14.
