Bulldogs bounce back with win over Bloomington Central Catholic

Savannah Orgeron registered 19 points on Tuesday (Nov. 29) as the Mahomet-Seymour girls’ basketball team bounced back from a loss in its previous game with a resounding 64-38 triumph at home over Bloomington Central Catholic.
Chloe Pruitt netted a season-high 13 points and Kylie Waldinger notched 11 points. Durbin Thomas contributed seven points.
Abby Bunting stuffed the stat sheet with seven rebounds, five points, five steals and two blocked shots.
Other rebounding leaders for the Bulldogs were Thomas and Ava Yeakel, each with four.
M-S led 13-5 after one quarter and 28-13 at halftime.
The Bulldogs (5-1) return to action on Friday (Dec. 2) with their Apollo Conference opener at Mount Zion.
