Bulldog wrestling tops Champaign Central and St. Thomas More

The undefeated Bulldogs won two wrestling dual meets at home on Friday (May 7), shutting out Champaign Central 78-0 and whipping St. Thomas More 76-6.
In four meets to date, M-S has lost just four matches, however 31 of its 52 wins have come by forfeits.
Posting pins against either Central or St. Thomas More were: Caden Hatton (113 pounds), Gage Decker (132 pounds), Gage Granadino (170 pounds), Daniel Renshaw (220 pounds), Camden Harms (220 pounds) and Colton Crowley (285 pounds).
Decker and Crowley both ended their matches in less than one minute.
The Bulldogs who earned wins by decision were Braeden Heinold (152 pounds), Peyton Myers (160 pounds) and Mateo Casillas (195 pounds), who is also playing baseball this spring.
M-S (4-0) returns to action on Tuesday (May 11) at home against Clinton and Prairie Central.
