Junior Sydney McKinney collected four kills and senior Chloe Pruitt totaled four blocks on Tuesday (Sept. 20) as the Mahomet-Seymour volleyball team swept Effingham at home, 25-16, 25-9.
McKinney also added two blocks while Pruitt landed two kills. Senior Maddie Gaede added nine assists, two digs and one block.
M-S (14-3 overall) is 5-0 in Apollo Conference matches and returns to action on Thursday (Sept. 22) at Charleston.
The M-S junior varsity upended Effingham, 25-16, 23-25, 15-12, and the Bulldog freshmen were victorious, 20-21, 21-10, 15-9.
