Bulldog Volleyball opens conference play with a win

Junior Elana Religioso recorded nine digs on Tuesday (Sept. 5) as the Mahomet-Seymour volleyball team opened Apollo Conference play at Mattoon with a 25-16, 25-12 sweep.

Ellie Barker totaled five kills, five digs and four service aces. Lily Bosworth posted six blocks and added two kills.

M-S (8-1 overall returns to action on Thursday (Sept. 7) at home against Mount Zion.

M-S won the JV match, 25-11, 25-9 and was victorious in the freshmen match, 20-25, 25-14, 15-10.
