Bulldog tennis goes undefeated at Bishop McNamara

Mahomet-Seymour’s girls’ tennis team improved its season record to 4-1 on Thursday (Sept. 9) with a 5-0 win at Kankakee Bishop McNamara.
At No. 1 singles, Morgan Lee didn’t lose a game while dispatching Sarah Berg, 6-0, 6-0.
The Bulldogs’ No. 1 doubles team of Savannah Amatyleon and Lillie Hillard duplicated that outcome, overpowering Maya Patel and Cassie Valtierra, 6-0, 6-0.
At No. 2 doubles, Jadyn Hannah and Megan Barnhart kept their record unblemished for the season, defeating Alexa Osterhoff and Ellen Latham, 6-1, 6-0.
Hannah and Barnhart are 4-0 for the season.
Two other Bulldog entries won by default, Sophia Slupski at No. 2 singles along with Claire Johnson and Lily Roberts at No. 3 doubles.
M-S (4-1) returns to action on Thursday (Sept. 16) against Mattoon at the University of Illinois.
