The undefeated Mahomet-Seymour girls’ basketball team opened Apollo Conference play on Friday (Dec. 3) with a resounding 78-19 triumph at home over Mount Zion.
Chloe Pruitt made a game-high 14 points and shared the team-lead in rebounding with Nichole Taylor. Each pulled down eight boards.
Abigail Bunting hit a season-high 12 points and Ivie Juarez contributed 10 points to go with five rebounds. Bunting had five steals.
Cayla Koerner and Savannah Orgeron each netted nine points. Koerner had five steals and Orgeron handled four rebounds.
M-S (7-0) returns to action on Monday (Nov. 6) at home against St. Joseph-Ogden (6-1).
