Bulldog golf posts best team score of the season, defeats Judah Christian

With three players shooting scores in the 30s, the Mahomet-Seymour boys’ golf team posted its best score of the season on Tuesday (Aug. 23) and toppled Champaign Judah Christian, 151-187, at Lake of the Woods.
Medalist Reis Claybrooke carded a 35 and was the individual winner by two shots over Kelton Hennesy.
Tying for third place individually was Bulldog Jacob Schoudel (39).
Parker Clements had a 40 for M-S. Leif Olson fired a 41 and Blake Harvey finished with a 45.
M-S (3-0) returns to action on Thursday (Aug. 25) at Ironhorse, in Tuscola.
The Bulldogs’ junior varsity squad also participated against Judah. The M-S leaders were Carter Henriksen (42), Riley Dowers (44), Todd Laughton (45) and Jake Rothlisberger (45).
