Sophomore teammates Ainsley Winters and Kayla McKinney placed second and third, respectively, on Tuesday (Sept. 15), leading the Mahomet-Seymour girls’ golf team to its third consecutive dual-meet victory.
Winters fired a 46 and McKinney shot a 49 at Meadowview Golf Course, in Mattoon.
M-S edged the Green Wave, 205-207.
The Bulldogs are 4-2 overall and 3-0 against teams in the Apollo Conference.
Other participants for M-S were: Emma Dallas (55), Gaby Davis (57), Maddy Clark (60) and Chloe Merkle (62).
M-S returns to action on Wednesday (Sept. 23) at Lake of the Woods against Lincoln.
