Bohm leads Bulldogs over Charleston

Senior Wyatt Bohm became the first Mahomet-Seymour player this season to lead the boys’ basketball team in scoring in consecutive games, piling up19 points on Tuesday (Dec. 6) as the Bulldogs dispatched Charleston, 58-44, at home.
Not only did Bohm register his top scoring performance through seven games, but the next two M-S point-makers also achieved season highs.
Finn Randolph dropped in 10 points and Carter Selk recorded eight points. Dayten Eisenmann added nine points. Also scoring eight points was Jake Waldinger.
Bohm and Selk were the rebounding leaders, collecting eight apiece. Bohm and Adam Dyer each handed out four assists.
Randolph captured a team-high four steals.
The Bulldogs’ lead was a slender 38-36 margin entering the fourth quarter.
M-S (3-4 overall and 2-1 in Apollo Conference action) returns to action on Friday (Dec. 9) at Effingham.
