Beyer, Simpson and Tjahjadi named to Apollo Conference team

Mahomet-Seymour’s Apollo Conference champion boys’ soccer team was rewarded with three of the 11 first-team selections on the annual all-Apollo Conference team.

The Bulldogs’ representatives were senior goalkeeper Zackery Beyer, senior defender Caeden Simpson and senior midfielder Nicholas Tjahjadi.

There were 11 athletes picked for the first team.

Bulldogs chosen for the 11-player second team were junior midfielder Mikiah Jones, junior striker Isaac Warren and junior striker Nolan Wheeler.

M-S was 10-1-1 in league matches and with a school-record 18-6-2 overall record with 14 of the wins by shutouts.

None of the M-S selections were repeaters.
