The Mahomet-Seymour Color Guard won the 2022 IDTA State Champion Winter Guard Championship last Saturday. They also took 2nd Place with their Lyrical Flag routine.
This is the third consecutive year that the Bulldogs have finished on top of their class.
Mahomet-Seymour Winter Guard kicked off the 2022 season, taking first place in the Winter Guard category at Clinton High School in January. Seniors Mallory Fonte and Audrey Boateng tied for second place with their Flag Solo.
At the IDTA Villa Grove competition the Bullodgs placed first place in AA Winter Guard. They also placed third in the Lyrical Flag routine. Kaylee Allison took first place for her Flag Solo. And Boston Hart was awarded the Rising Star Award.
